13,000 sensor nodes for Qld hospital

Lend Lease has selected Organic Response-enabled light fixtures from Eagle Lighting in its new Sunshine Coast University Hospital, currently being built on behalf of the Queensland State Government.

The 165,000 m2 hospital is the largest ever built by Lend Lease, and it is the largest Organic Response installation in the healthcare sector, with over 13,000 Sensor Nodes controlling lighting in corridors, nurse bases, offices, open plan spaces and reception areas.

The close collaboration with Lend Lease and its consulting engineers Aurecon led Organic Response to develop and release several new advanced lighting control features which were incorporated into its Generation 2 system, released earlier this year.
