The OPX-BOX+ is a compact OTDR designed to operate remotely using Fiberiser software. The unit can be controlled via USB or Bluetooth from Windows, MacOS, Linux or Android devices.
The product is simple to operate as the VFL and OLS can be activated locally using a single button. It features up to three wavelengths for OTDR testing including Live port (1625 nm, 1650 nm) and up to 41 dB Dynamic Range and testing 1/4m Dead Zones. An optional light source (via OTDR port) and optional visual fault locator (VFL) are also available.
Other features include: multi- and singlemode wavelength test options such as 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625 and 1650 nm; fixed and interchangeable optical adaptors (SC/FC/ST/LC); and ruggedised case and gap-free design to protect the device from harsh and hazardous environments.
The mini OTDR can also be operated from Fiberiser cloud and desktop systems.
