Local renewable energy company Solgen Energy Group has announced completion of 1.75 megawatts of solar capacity installed across the NBN Satellite Earth Stations (SES) and Technical Aggregation Node and Development (TAND) facilities.
In order to align with nbn co’s aim to lessen its environmental impact in delivering the nation’s extensive communication infrastructure upgrade, Solgen conducted a detailed analysis of the preliminary and functional specifications to deliver an end-to-end solution that incorporated two types of solar power installations across various sites. These included roof-mounted solar arrays for metropolitan TAND sites and ground-mounted arrays for the remote SES sites.
The company said it designed and procured the most suitable solar components to match the site constraints while achieving the best industry standards.
