Brooks has released the EIB2110 multi-sensor alarm, combining photoelectric and heat technology in one alarm.
The device reduces nuisance alarms as it tolerates up to 50% higher levels of cooking fumes and steam. It additionally tolerates up to 100% more contamination than a single-sensor optical alarm, providing increased longevity and robustness.
The multi-sensor alarm has been tested to all seven fire types and provides a faster fire response. It is approved to AS3786 for smoke alarms and meets the requirements of AS1603.3 for heat alarms.
Other features include a replace-sensor alarm indication and alarm memory feature, as well as single-person test ability.
